Kaya twitched in anger and seconds after that everyone who was in the hall stopped hearing a loud angry yell. Followed by a crunch. Xanthus went around the corner and saw Kaya stomp by pissed and saw Cole had his head rammed through the wall leaving a hole with him stuck in it now. Xanthus just laughed loudly as he yanked Cole out and said, "Wow what did you do to her kid? You need to be more thoughtful when approaching a girl.

Xanthus laughed and said, "It'll be alright Cole. You probably just caught her off guard was all. Now come on." He dragged Cole into the Cafeteria and stopped. Seeing Rei sitting at the table a stack of dishes that reached the ceiling were by her as she sat there spacing out. "I guess she wasn't joking when she said she could match you Cole." Said Xanthus.

He was about to walk toward Rei when Kai's voice came over the intercom through the place saying, Xanthus, Kaya, Rei, and Cole you're needed in my office please."Not another mission..." Said Xanthus with a sigh.Rei was already running past them saying, "Let;s take it anythings better then being here right now." She walked toward Kai's work area.

Rei opened the door to Kai's office and blinked saying, "Wow what the hell happened in here?" everywhere was stacks and stacks of papers and there wasn't even a place to sit. Kai gave a laugh and said, "Just a little back log. Cases are flooding in by the minute. You can thank the Vatican for this blasted mess." He said the last part with a bit sarcasm.

"Now then I have your mission right here." Said Kai handing her the folder. Rei opened it and said, "Um Kai this is a folder of copied cook book recipes..." Kai snatched it back and tossed it over his shoulder saying, "Sorry it's around here somewhere then. It was just handed in. He was looking through the stacks by him. Rei sighed and said, “This could take a while guys...” Kaya finally spoke up and said, “It’s in the basket by your feet I believe.” Kai looked down seeing it he said, “Ah thanks Kaya.”

Rei snatched it out of his hand and opened it reading it. “What babysitting? You got to be kidding me!” Said Rei. “Oh great who needs protection this time? I ain’t about to spend my week watching a snot nosed brat.” Said Xanthus. ‘This isn’t a joke you guys. This kid isn’t any normal brat. And the request was for the strongest hunter team. You guys would be the top of the list. Anyways the designated location where you’re supposed to go is in that folder. I beg you not to screw this up.” Said Kai. Rei shoved the folder into Cole’s hand and left looking pissed.

Rei was not one bit happy as she sat on the train. “Oh cheer up Rei I got your favorite snacks.” Said Xanthus holding up a bag. Rei snatched the bag away and said, “Who the hell do they think they are. Sending us off like this.” “We’re the strongest team. Please they just want me out on the field so they can study me.” She added sarcastically. “It does seem off. I mean why not request Mana or a few S Class hunters. All we been doing is handling B rank missions.” Said Xanthus.

Their so called client just sat there quietly the whole time. Rei just looked at the boy before reaching into her bag and tossing a wrapped sweet bun to him saying, "Here we don't exactly have the money to feed you anything elaborate. So that'll have to do." "This is fine." Said the boy softly. "Wow Rei I think you scared the kid." Said Xanthus. "Not she didn't but I am interested in her. Please don't call me kid my name is Sei." Said the boy as he took a bite out of the sweet bun. "So Sei what makes me so interesting to you?" Asked Rei.

"Your power." Said Sei simply as he wiped off his with a napkin after he was done. He smiled and said, "You give off quite an aura Rei. It's strong yet calming at the same time. I believe you have the power to end this battle for sure. They said you were the key after all." Rei said, "No shit I mean I'm fighting blind is what it feels like. They haven't told me everything yet because I guess I need to get the hang of things more."

Sei stood up and Walked after Xanthus followed by Rei and Cole behind them. It was the moment they were in the other car though an explosion threw them forward. Xanthus had used himself as a shield to protect Sei and Rei. Looking back his face paled seeing the car they were in moments before falling back. "We're jumping off now." Said Xanthus. "What why?" Asked Rei. "Because our job is to protect the kid. Fail this and we're fucked. We can't fight them in here either. It's best we lead them out into the open." Said Xanthus.

"No they're coming from both sides. If we jump we better do it now a bridge is coming!" Said Kaya. She quickly braced herself and leaped off. "Kaya!" Cried Rei. She found herself grabbed by Xanthus who kicked Cole off before they hit the bridge and jumped off after him. Though the whole train exploded that moment and Xanthus manage to avoid the blast and landed on his back sliding to a rough stop. Kaya came running up as soon as Cole landed. Helping Xanthus up. Sei was fine and so was Rei.

Footsteps were heard that moment and they were cornered from all sides. Six vampires had appeared that moment and the group quickly got Sei in between them so they were around him guarding him from all angles. Though Kaya got struck and she landed on her side. When Sei was grabbed though the vampire jerked his hand back after some how being burned by just touching him. "You fool don't just rush in the red hair girl is resonating her energy. Rush in you're going to be turned to ash." Said another vampire. "You guys are all screwed either way. So don't think we'll let you walk away." Said Rei. She then made sure Sei was in between the group again.

the fight finally broke out as Cole, Xanthus and Rei were fighting them off. Cole trying to stay in his human form fighting them with hand to hand combat breaking their bones and launching them away only to see them get back up and use their souls they absorbed to heal themselves... only for xanthus and Rei to either finish them or to hinder them more.

As the fight raged on the only S rank one came at Cole thinking he was the weak link at pinned him against a stone wall between Sei and Kaya.

Your very strong for a human... boy..." said the S rank vampire smiling at him as he showed his fangs hissing at him.

Cole was pinned as he gritted his teeth knowing he had no other choice... he then looked at the vampire as he saw fangs in his k-9s. "I'm not human... VAMPIRE!!!" he roared out as he then threw him away like he was a ragdoll as the vampire hit several trees then got back up looking in horror but also in pain.

Cole went to the ground curling his fingers like claws as he growled... his hair flailing in the wind as it too was growing wildly and he continued to growl as his clothes started to rip from his increased growth. Finally his hair went pure white his eyes celestial blue as he started to transform... his wolf like eyes coming into play... his teeth and face changing as well as his arms, legs and a tail coming into view. He then let out a howl of a wolf as it echoed the area then roared as the other vampires recoiled.

He's... he's a werewolf!!! he's a albinean werewolf!!!" yelled one of the vampires completely afraid as he was shaking. Seconds later Cole charged and nothing but the screams of dying vampires were being heard. one was being Cole's food as he as ripping him appart and feeding off of him as he stared at the S rank vampire as he too was horrified.

Rei's eyes went wide and Kaya was shaking in fear as she tried not to cry. The S class vampire turned to flee but a spear suddenly went through his chest that moment and he was shocked to the point where he fell down and turned to dust.

When he fell a man stood there holding the spear. He then looked at Cole. Pointing his weapon at Cole he said, "Control yourself. Can't you see you're scaring the two girls you have in your team. If you refuse I'll cut you down here and now. And trust me this spear has slain many foes. I wouldn't want to mess with me if I were you."

Xanthus suddenly fell to his knees holding his head that moment. The moment he looked at this man something about him seemed familiar but what was the question.

Xanthus just stood up and there seemed to be a stare down between the group and the man. "Who are you! Why the hell do you look so familiar!" Said Xanthus suddenly. "If you can't remember it wouldn't be right of me to tell you Xanthus. Your trip should be fine from this point on. I radioed in for a chopper and told them your train blew up." Said the man.

Though the moment he said that the wind picked up as a helicopter appeared over the group. The man had disappeared in the middle of that and when the chopper landed Mana got out and said, "Get in." "No." Said Xanthus suddenly. "You know the rules. You abandon a mission is goes on your record now get in." Said Mana. "Personally I don't give a fuck. Rei I trust you and Cole to finish this. I got business to take care off." Said Xanthus as he vanished. Mana yelled, "Zane's gonna flip on your sorry ass for this!!"

Though he got swatted by Rei who said, "Children shouldn't swear we're going to finish this. I trust Xanthus and he might be onto something important Mana. We ran into a stray hunter out here who obviously knew his name. I'm going to ask Kai to dig into records once we're done with this mission." She then got in and helped Sei in. After that they left.

A few hours later they had returned. Rei went to Kai almost immediately. "Red hair? You mean like yours? I don't recall any guy in our database with red hair like you. Also sixteen years ago we took a hard hit when our HQ was attacked directly. Most of the information we had was burned down along with part of this place. Oh don't even go to Zane because he won't know either. Or won't say to be honest. I shouldn't be saying this but he lost his wife and kid in the attack. That's why nobody brings up the battle that happened back then. His son would have been about your age now. A lot of people died then." Said Kai.

Rei said, "Then try to dig I'm sure you'll find something. Xanthus went after this guy and he was a hunter who had a spear that released electrical charges." Said Rei. "I'll try but I can't promise I'll find anything." Said Kai. Rei nodded and then left after that.

Cole on the other hand was forced into what oracles and werewolves call seculsion... he had to stay cut off for 24 hours till he controled his powers... the werewolf transformation was so amazing that he had to undergo low level doses to calm himself... even his father came to see him as Cole sat there chained up to protect himself more then anything.

Also that day Kaya got a surprise visit from Cole's family... his mother came to console her as she never left the sactuary unless to see her husband, her son or to help the oracles with minor details... for this she knew she had to be there...
"Do you love my son... Ms. Kaya?" he asked as he smiled her silver hair down her back as she still retained her youth from all those years... only her hair seemed to age.

Kaya found herself turning a heated red as she sat at her desk. Her friends were giggling madly behind her and she turned around after shaking her soda up and sprayed them all with it. They ran out squealing and whining. The moment they were gone Kaya slammed the door shut.

She then pulled out a chair for Cole's mother. And got some tea made up. Sitting down she said, "I do like him. He had me scared today but it's fine I can only imagine how bad he feels right now for terrifying me like that. I'm worried about him. Even Rei was freaked and she don't get scared of anything."

The door swung open and Rei came in saying, "I heard my name just now. Kaya you're not making fun of me are you?" She closed it behind her. "No not at all! I'd never do a thing!" Whined Kaya blushing. "Oh sorry I barged in if it's something important. With Xanthus and Cole not around I'm feeling kinda lonely with nobody to talk to. I went to Kai and asked him to look up info on that spear wielding hunter. You wouldn't happen to have seen anything have you Kaya? You know when he showed up." Kaya shook her head.

Seems its been lively since I've been away." said Coles mother. "oh... forgive me... my name is Makoto... I'm Cole's mother." she said to Rei smiling. she was a beautiful woman... which would make people pause as how Akira of all people got a woman like her.

Akira watched his son as he folded his arms. "he killed how many vampires again?" he asked the reporter.

The reporter looked at the report as he looked. "5 sir... all A class... one of the he fead from." he said as he put the report down.

Kaya smiled though she noticed Rei was sitting there shaking slightly as her head lowered. Kaya then realized Rei had been putting up a tough front this whole time. But what she saw earlier really did traumatize her. "Rei are you okay?" Asked Kaya going over to her. She then hugged the girl gently worried about her.

Rei finally lost it and started crying against Kaya loudly. After a minute of that Rei forced herself to calm down. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to be rude like that in front of you. Let's just say the only werewolves I seen are in the movies and being right there when it happened scared me half to death seeing the real deal. I won't hate your son over it though. He really is a nice person." Said Rei softly.

Kaya sighed in relief as she said, "For a moment there you had me worried Rei." She then said, "It's a pleasure to meet you Makoto." "Yes it is I think I've meet my match in the eating department thanks meeting your son." Said Rei with a smile.

Oh you should have seen him when he was younger... he would eat a whole cow... no lie... he ate an entire cow once when he was younger... after that though he didn't eat for 3 days but he can still pact it in." he said smiling to them. "But yes... my son went into his beastial nature... sometimes its hard to imagine... but it also puts a pyschological effect on the enemy as well. he is very kind hearted." he said... she then looked to Kaya and whispered to her ear. "and he has a thing for women with very large breasts... I should know... I breast fed him." she jested as she walked off. "he's a lot like his father when it comes to women... quiet... but very loving when he drops his guard." she said as he walked out. "take care of yourselves."

Akira was in the halls as he saw Makoto. "Cole is well... he's almost regained his human side... he just has that stare... the one that you gave to our enemies... Was I to hard on him as a child... he's distant when it comes to me."

"No... but you did it to soon... he thinks he has to fight you to earn your respect now. You had better find another way... or you will see why he is our son... he has your power... and my eyes!!!." she warned.
